Behind the Lens
January Six Word Photo Story Challenge: “Self”
From behind my lens, I wander.
In the Jurassic landscape, I reflect. At my core, I long to explore — to see, do, and be more. The wind is icy on my cheeks, and the terrain is slick. Muddy.
But, when hiking over the ancient boulders, my feet grip the stone easily. I take pictures, capturing each unique and beautiful curiosity along my path.
My camera may not perfectly recreate the world I see, but the act brings me joy nonetheless. Meaning. Behind the lens, I see my surroundings from a new perspective and find inspiration in the process. Taking a deep breath, I wander deeper into the desert.
