Articles that Brought Me Happy Tears and Joy This Week:
Illumination is more than a publication, it is a community

I am finding so much joy in getting to know other writers in the amazing community of Illumination and I would like to shine a light on the articles that brought me so much joy and courage this week.
This article is my most favorite this week and it is by a super supportive person, prolific writer and amazing human Kevin Buddaeus. This article made me cry happy tears the morning that I read it. I believe that great writing does that for you, it evokes deep emotions that make you want to take action on something you are meant to do, or to feel some feelings you need to feel. I feel this article on not worrying so much about what others think and really going for what makes you truly unique in this world. Thank you Kevin Buddaeus for sharing your thoughts with us!
I also love reading about what we are all doing as a collective here in Illumination to help each other and to spread the word about all of the amazing authors on here. I love Charles Roast’s humor as well as his leadership here in our community. This article is a fun way of looking at all the amazing steps he has taken so far to support us. Thank you for inspiring us to support each other Charles Roast!
Ever one of my favorite authors, and I am sure we’d be close friends if we lived close to each other is KeepingItRealWithAnnick. I love her spirit of showing us all unique ways to live and use our time wisely to our benefit. She wrote this week on how to prioritize in a very simple and effective way. She showed here how her pillar for the day was health and how other parts of her day related to that. I love the steps that she always outlines in her articles on how all of us can live better. Thank you KeepingItRealWithAnnick for sharing your wisdom with us!
An amazing poet and writer I have really enjoyed getting to know on here is Gurpreet Dhariwal. I loved what she wrote this week on the silver linings of the lockdown in her life and what it meant to her. I love that she is so grateful for the simple things. Her focus is to write, but also to spend her evenings reading and supporting other authors as well. She is very active on here as aa writer and a supporter and such a lovely person to get to know. Thank you Gurpreet Dhariwal for sharing a bit of your life with us!
I also have really loved reading Simona’s articles lately. She had a great one this week that walked us through steps on how to difuse your fear of failure. She broke down everything into actionable steps which I really appreciate. I love how helpful she is and she is also such a kind and bright light in our community. Thank you Simona for sharing your expertise with us!
I also have enjoyed getting to know Terry Mansfield as well. I love that he writes on a variety of topics and this article on moral courage caught my eye. I feel that he put together a great list of ways in which we can become more aware of how we are behaving morally, and if we are setting a good example for others. Some great issues to ponder- thank you so much Terry Mansfield!
Finally, I’d like to end my list with a lovely article on getting things done one at a time by the fantastic writer Rasheed Hooda. I really enjoy his work on helping us see how to be better and work better. This article pointed out how taking things one at a time is the best way to go. Thank you Rasheed Hooda for being so supportive and helpful to all of us here!
I read so, so many amazing articles this week. These are some of my favorites but I wish I could highlight them all. I feel so honored to be in such a fantastic and dynamic community. A big thank you to Dr Mehmet Yildiz for bringing us all together on a daily basis! We are working on illuminating the world!
With lots of love and light,
Trista
