Andrew Tate Is Like a Skilled Sex Worker: He Knows What Men Want and Gives It To Them
Decoding Tate’s popularity.
Hate speech mogul and misogynist extraordinaire Andrew Tate has finally been banned from social media.
Relieved? Don’t be.
His ‘teachings’ have already made a dent in the fabric of society and it will be up to us to fix it. Are you up for the challenge?
This will not be a Tate-bashing article. There are plenty of those and for good reason. By now most of us know he’s a threat to young men and women everywhere.
Those who still defend him, are you sure you want to support someone who preaches both directly and through the power of example that:
He needs to have authority over women, discussed hitting women, and claimed that rape victims must ‘bear some responsibility” for being raped. He has said he doesn’t believe men and women are equal, called female self-defense “bullshit,” and said women are “incapable of fighting” and only able to “scream and run.” […] 18-year-olds are more attractive than women in their 20s because “they’ve been through less dick.” (Insider.com)
- Women should be treated like dogs and trained to obey: “You can’t be responsible for something that doesn’t listen to you. You can’t be responsible for a dog if it doesn’t obey you, or a child if it doesn’t obey you, or a woman that doesn’t obey you.”
- It’s a good idea to move to a poor country because you have the opportunity to be part of corruption: “I like Eastern Europe as a whole because corruption is far more accessible.”
- Women belong in the home, can’t drive, and are a man’s property: “Women can’t drive if that upsets geeks like you, […] I don’t give a fuck.”
- “Depression isn’t real”. It “is not a clinical disease”, “it is a circumstance which they must change.”
- People who vape are ‘bullshit children’, not real men. “Gimme a big fat cigar. I’m risking cancer to look like a Mafia boss.”
Yes, he said all that and more. But the article is not about that. It’s about his popularity and demystifying what some have sadly deemed ‘a marketing genius’.
I’m sorry to burst your bubble, but he is nothing of the sort.
Power comes with responsibility. A marketing genius is not defined only by his success in getting people to buy what he sells. Genius is also defined by what the person does with that power and popularity.
That’s why nobody is calling Hitler a marketing genius, although he, too, was very successful in attracting a lot of fans and voters.
Weirdly enough, Tate’s ideology doesn’t bother me, although I believe women as well as men should be furious with him.
He doesn’t bother me because, from an ideological point of view, I find him ridiculous. Nothing new, he’s just spewing out the same old misogynistic nonsense.
From a psychological point of view, any therapist can tell you that he has serious mental issues.
From a human standpoint, he is at the level of high-school bullies who, suddenly finding themselves successful, are now spewing their hatred for humankind in the big arena of social media rather than in the schoolyard.
I don’t mind him more than I mind a cockroach crawling on a banana peel in the garbage or a dog barking into the night.
I will admit that I’m wrong to have this attitude.
I might consider him an insignificant piece of dust, but so many impressionable young men who can’t find their place in this fast-evolving world look to him for guidance and that will result in some severely delusional and aggressive adults.
I just can’t take him seriously or consider him a fully-developed human being. So I just ignored his existence the same way I ignored the said cockroach.
What made me pay attention to him are his marketing tactics, which work like a charm.
He has a very strong male-dominant fan base that swears by his teachings. Granted his fan base is made of mostly minors, incels, and the easily frustrated, it just so happens there are many of those.
What did he do to get them?
He knows men and gives them what they want, just like a very skilled sex worker does.
I used to work as a trainer to the girls in a virtual sex studio (link), the same kind that Andrew Tate operated.
The girls’ purpose is very simple: to get the men (yes, the great majority of customers are men) to fork up as much money as possible.
The girls with the least amount of morality won. The best manipulators won.
The ones who understood male psychology best. The ones who studied how the client functioned and gave him exactly what he wanted, despite her personality being the exact opposite.
That’s exactly what Tate does and he does it well.
He’s a pro of basic human needs.
But if you think Tate hates women, you’re wrong. He hates men as well.
Hear me out.
He knows what men want. Men come from a long past of being in control. Of owning women, cattle, and land. They were constantly bombarded with messages that big boys don’t cry and they took that to heart. They fought in battles and know emotion as weakness.
No bashing them for that. It is what it is. They were used by other more powerful men in charge. They had to be hardcore and hold their ground even when the ground was shaking.
So they don’t know how to handle this new world that asks them to be vulnerable, to show emotion, and where they no longer have the upper hand. They feel like they’re losing power and they want it back.
Tate knows that. And he fakes giving it to them!
Tate fakes giving men the power they crave.
By promising the bone of control, money, and power, he trains them just like dogs: to do what he says, promote his content, and wiggle their tail when he shows up online.
Exactly what he said about women. ‘You can’t be responsible for a dog that doesn’t obey you.’
Did you know that part of his money is made by using women to manipulate men out of their money? Is that respectful towards men?
Because he knows very well how the male psyche works, he would sometimes talk to men pretending he was one of the sex workers that a client had an interest in. It’s a very common practice. Both my bosses from the virtual sex studios did this too. They were both men and they knew way better than women what men wanted. It’s only natural!
Tate did the same. He got behind the wheel (in this case the keyboard) and he provided men with countless sob stories. Men are suckers for a damsel in distress so they would come up with the money to help cute honey-covered big-tittied Dolly Sweets pay for her sister’s surgery.
So much for the manosphere and the bros club.
0 respect for women, 0 respect for men.
He’s got them trained so well, that his flying monkeys (or should I say dogs) are doing all the work themselves. Sharing his words, his videos, all in the name that one day they might be as successful as him, as powerful as him, as confident as him. For the illusion that one day they could dominate life as he (supposedly) does.
Tate makes men feel superior, less isolated and alone. He gives them hope that they still belong in this ever-changing world. That his tactics work to get them everything they want. He makes men feel understood, seen, all the while separating them even further from themselves and a healthy society.
He tells men there is no such thing as depression. Imagine the future of a man who suffers from depression but denies that to himself, in a society where 18.8 million Americans are diagnosed with depression and 2/3 of suicide victims suffered from it.
And then consider men already have higher suicide rates, higher homelessness rates, and higher drug use rates.
He tells men women are inferior and need to be controlled. Imagine the future relationships of a man in a society where women are already apprehensive about being in relationships with men because they want an increase in male soft skills.
Imagine the future of a man who, like Tate pretends to do, uses aggression as default in a world where soft skills, flexibility, and creativity are more and more valued.
There’s no magic behind his marketing. Actually, it’s pretty simple. He figured out how to manipulate men by addressing their basic needs and pretending he is solving them.
Why hasn’t it been done before, if it’s so simple? It has been! A lot of class A manipulators managed to even become presidents and lead entire nations into disaster by pretending they have the key to people being safe, rich, and in control.
Why aren’t more people doing it?
Because believe it or not, most people have basic human decency. Most people wouldn’t do what he does. Most people wouldn’t hit a woman with a belt or grab her by the neck and take out a machete if she asks questions. Some people would “grab ’em by the pussy” but that’s a whole different story. Or is it?
Some people would go all the way though. Those are called psychopaths, narcissists, or dictators.
There’s no genius behind Tate’s success. But there is manipulation, psychopathy, trauma, a severe lack of moral values, and an utter disregard for humankind.
