Ancient Water
A Poem

You flow, endlessly, Along, around, Under, over, Between and through. A never-ending cycle Enveloping everything In your mist. Immovable Becomes movable. Impenetrable Is penetrated As small drops Seep into every Crack and crevice, Fissure and fracture.
Thousands Have bathed, Imbibed, ingested, Swallowed and swigged, Quenching their thirst, Refreshing their souls. Ancient and enlightening, Molecules, old As the earth Cycle this life, Past, present, future. Destroying, restoring, Overwhelming, reclaiming, Essential, Indispensable. Treated with Adoration, contempt, Chemicals, chlorine. Saving souls Sinking souls.
The Power of Water.
