An Orc Army Moves Out

You take a step closer, and the tied-up goblin yelps again. Then you lower your axe, and slit its bonds with your knife.
It shrinks back, terrified.
“Name?” you whisper.
“Powzi.”
“You’re free. But the human prisoners…?”
“Uh… back o’ the main cave. You rescuing?”
“Aye.”
“Now’s the time! The orcs gonna attack Five Oaks Village.”
You hesitate, then crawl up the rocks. Sure enough, you see a host of orcs preparing to depart. At their head, on horseback, a massive orc sorcerer, paler than the moon ailing in some slow eclipse.
Alongside stands a human ranger in armor.
You are faced with a choice…
- Find Dara, then run ahead to warn Five Oaks Village (click here).
- Observe the orc army a little longer, then flee (click here).
- Wait for all the orcs to leave, then search for your family (click here).
