I am not a verified author on Medium because my ebook does not have an International Standard Book Number (ISBN).

My ebook has an Amazon Standard Identification Number (ASIN).

I am a verified author on Amazon:

Medium is always looking for ways to improve the user’s experience and the official Medium author badges appeals to authors and readers.

I hope Medium considers all authors in the future for this feature.
