And the gift of silence (poem)

this season, give yourself the gift of silence.

holidays can be loud!!! and lively!!!!!! and fun !!!!!!!!! and all that lovely jazz

but sometimes we do not give ourselves a break from all this loud kind of joy for the space for a quiet kind of happiness.

so my gift to you or your gift to yourself this season

may be John Cage’s 4:33, to allow yourself those precious moments of silence that will allow those moments of Loud Clashing Fun to be even more vibrant.
