Accepting Everything as a Gift
Day 79: Every situation in life is there to guide you

As the heavy rain outside comes down to refresh and green the Earth, I feel contemplative this morning. Thoughts and feelings are welling up inside of me. I am learning to let go. An opportunity to let go came to me yesterday that called to my heart. I received a message that I was not expecting yesterday. There are many ways to look at it. In some ways, it brings up deep emotions. If I choose to look deeper, it is a gift for me. It is a chance for me to take responsibility for my feelings, and to let go. On my 100-day spiritual journey, there are days of elation and days of delving into my spirit for the true answers. I am so grateful today that I am exploring the book Letting Go by David R. Hawkins.
My task for today is to look inside myself for any negativity I am holding on to. I need to ask myself what I am gaining by hanging on. I need to be clear in my communication and respond with love. By taking responsibility for my emotions, I can let go. I know that this is a gift for me today. It allows me to practice letting go.
On this level, there is the awareness that all negative feelings are our own problem, there is no longer looking outside of ourselves for their resolution. -David R. Hawkins

Because I am expressing my whole heart through writing, I am going to use this to let go today. I will take some time in silence to send love. My words on paper will express acceptance and responsibility for my own emotions. I will write a powerful letter and send some gifts. The time has come to let go and face my feelings. Taking some time to myself today to accomplish this is a sacred act of letting my spirit be free to love without judgement.
In the state of acceptance, it is possible to forgive our own past, as well as that of others, and to heal past resentments. It is also possible to see the hidden gift in past events about which we have been resentful-including their possible karmic significance. -David R. Hawkins
Taking ownership of my feelings and my shortcomings in communication signify that I am now able to better express myself to others. This lesson and this day came to me at just the right time. Everything is always perfect in the universe, and this is no exception. Feelings that are painful and difficult are there as our teachers. They appear to us when we need to learn the lesson.
My prayer and my intention for you today is that you give yourself time and space to process any emotions that have come up from recent or past events. Know that they are there to guide and teach you. Be gentle and loving with yourself through this process. What are they here to teach you? What negative feelings can you let go of?
How will you explore your emotions today?
