Bio

I’m a creative writer of fantasy, and have been writing novels and web-novels for a number of years.

My first series was The Druid Stones Saga, a historical fantasy set in medieval Scotland and based around Celtic myths and legends. Available in all good bookstores, and the first book of the 5-book series is free!

Since then, I have discovered a love of LitRPG, and have written several works set across different eras. The Shadow Kingdoms series is a group of stories, including ‘gamelit’ and short stories, as well as novels.

My writing life

I spent years playing roleplaying games and reading fantasy books before I had a go at writing. I also didn’t know about LitRPG; that is, about novels with game-like stats. So when I found out about those, it was love at first sight!

Here’s a story about my current main LitRPG series, Sparta Online. It’s a trilogy, and the third book is out very soon!

And here’s a web-novel that I’m sharing right here on Medium, a couple of chapters per week:

Let me be frank — I have never reached a high level in any sport or musical instrument. I don’t have a bunch of trophies or medals from my high school days. All the same, I have pretty broad interests. I’ve tried a lot of things, and I enjoyed most of them! For example:
