You briefly lose consciousness, and when you awake, you are among a heap of rocks. By some miracle, you’re not too badly injured.
You crawl. You find an opening, leading to a smooth, well-lit tunnel. You walk along.
A figure lurches out of the dark. You shrink back, but he growls, “It’s cool, buddy. I’m Lonesmasher. Party’s this way.”
Somehow you have chanced upon the party! Soon you’re drinking and dancing in a cave with orcs, kobolds, goblins and more.
But then a horrendous screech yells out, like the hounds of hell, and everyone flees.
“This way!” yelps Lonesmasher.
