You pat your legs and whisper Scruff’s name.
The big dog smiles at you amiably, but stays sitting by Bruno’s feet.
You call again, but the dog just stares at you blankly.
Dara stifles a laugh.
“Uh… no.” Bruno says stoically. “Scruff is my dog, he’ll stay with me.”
He scratches Scruff’s head with affection.
“Never underestimate the bond between a Ranger and his companion. I can always count on Scruff to have my back.”
Bruno scratches his own head.
“In fact, on second thought… it’s probably better if you go with Dara, but I’ll leave it up to you.”
