A New Ally?

“My family has been captured by orcs” you tell the moneychanger. “I need money for weapons, food, and maybe to hire mercenaries. What have you got?”
“If you’re taking on orcs, you’ll need your wits, everything in that purse and then some,” he replies, “but I can’t give you something for nothing. My daughter, Helga, silly girl, married a bad man. He beats her, but she won’t leave him and he can’t seem to lay off the mead. Says he loves her, but I worry. If you… err… ‘take care of’ her husband, I will make it worth your while.”
Choices:
- Agree to ‘take care of’ the husband (click here).
- Ask the moneychanger to arrange a meeting with the merchant and you’ll consider his offer (click here).
- You want an ally, but not enough for it to be these people. Leave the shop, alone, with all the items you entered with (click here).
