8 Tiny Life Changing Mind-Set To Elevate Your Life Instantly
Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.— Arthur Ashe

Have you ever heard the saying, “life is a journey, not a destination?”
It’s one of my favorite quotes these days because I’ve experienced it.
No matter how much you plan and scheme, life will never go exactly the way you want it to.
You need to adjust to become happier and healthier every day.
If you searching for wisdom — it comes from experience, trying out different things, and taking chances.
I have read over 100s of self-improvement books, articles, blog posts, and I concluded that all is possible only when you are allowed to change your mindset.
No matter how many healthy habits, productive habits you follow. Unless you become more intentional about what you do, you are hardly ever going to benefit from any of it.
If you are going through a rough patch, these tiny chunks of wisdom have all the power to help you become healthier, and happier.
1. Just Do it and Figure it Out Later
Procrastination is the most common form of self-sabotage.
And you spend entire life to achieve perfectionism, and no matter what you do is never going to be good enough.
So whenever you have something to do — just start doing it, no matter how boring it may be. You might be surprised by the results.
It can be applied to everything, working out, eating healthy, writing your first essay, or work tasks that you are delaying.
2. You Don’t Improve What You Can’t Measure
How would you track the progress if you don’t have some number or artifact to support it?
For example, eating health — it’s a vague statement. It doesn’t tell you how much, what you should eat and when.
So if you want to start healthy, you need to put some measurements around it to make sure you doing something.
This could turn something like this:
1- Eating one fresh fruit every day as your mid-day snack
2- Drinking 2L water every day
3- Fill your plate with 60% veggies and whole food.
It will make more sense. So if you have certain goals to achieve, define measurable outcome so you know how much you have accomplished and how far you have to go.
It can help you to achieve audacious goals.
3. Happiness is a Mindset
Do you know what contributes to your happiness?
I used to think, if I get that fancy job, I will be happy.
If I start earning x, I will be happy.
If I get that latest iPhone, I will be happy.
and so on…
But the thing is, there is always going to be something new, something fancy coming up. And it’s not realistic to catch up.
So instead of finding happiness outside, look inside and ask yourself, what do you need?
Sometimes less is more and simplifying your life can help you reach there.
Sometimes happiness lies in doing tiny things that fill your heart with joy.
Do things that let you get closer to self-contentment, and keep your most cherished relations with you.
4. The Purpose of Life is to Live
I have always been a workaholic. This is the only way for me to know my worth.
If I am not working for 15 hours per day, it means I am not doing anything. I took extra work, said yes to minimal tasks, and worked all 7 days.
I was always ON and barely taking any rest or time off.
I was always hustling, grinding, and trying to prove myself again and again no matter what. Maybe I was kind of always thinking that I am not good enough.
And all this while I have missed out on a lot of life.
Working all the time. isn’t the most important thing in life.
Your time is! You can’t put a price on experiences.
Life experiences are actual currency and it shapes your personality and helps you to develop a growth mindset.
They’re unique, and they’re something that you can never get back once they’re gone.
So if you have the opportunity to travel, see the world, and create amazing memories, do it.
Don’t let your work (or your fear of not having enough money) get in the way.
You can always make more money. But you can’t make more time.
“By changing nothing, nothing changes.” — Tony Robbins
5. You Don’t Need to Know Everything
You think, if you want to be a master of something, you need to know everything.
To achieve success, you don’t need to know everything but using what you already know and learn as you move forward.
The most successful people are often the ones who focus on a specific things and rest they figure out with time and leverage their current knowledge to create success.
So if you want to be a master of something, focus on becoming an expert in one specific area.
The rest will fall into place.
6. Not All Problems Need Your Attention
I used to think that everything can be solved with a little hard work. And people are not successful because they are not working hard.
It may be true at certain extent but mot all problems needs fixing.
If anyone has any problem or issue, I always that this thinking that I need to solve it at any cost, and I will make it my mission.
Sometimes It’s okay but it can turn you to be obsessive and trying to control everything.
It took me a while to separate myself from life problems.
To be honest, some problems simply cannot be solved no matter how much effort we put into them.
The key is to identify these problems and save yourself the headache of banging your head against a wall.
And sometimes maybe it’s out of your control and it’s okay to leave them as it is. And that’s okay.
7. You Are *Good* Enough
Everywhere you look, where you are constantly bombarded with messages that tell us we need to be the best, be 10x productive etc.
Be it your job, hobby, relationships, anything be the best at everything.
But the truth is, you don’t have to be the best to be successful.
Consistency beats talent. Repetition creates success.
8. The World Is Not Fair
Life is not fair and the world certainly not!
You see it everyday and think about it. No matter what good you do, there are always things that are not in your control.
The sooner you accept this, the better off you’ll be.
Fear is forward. No one is afraid of yesterday.— Renata Adler
There will always be people who are smarter, more talented, and luckier than you. And there will also be less fortunate people.
So what does that mean for you?
It means that you need to focus on what you can control and not dwell on the things that you can’t.
It also means that you should be grateful for what you have and help less fortunate people.
Be Bold
Be Courageous
Be Your Best
