Does Medium enter your dreamscape too?

Somehow it seems bizarre yet logical Most of the factors are clearly psychological Or maybe not so clear as we’re connected Through processes that were neglected

In favor of a digital land Where thoughts and feelings extend a hand To catch connecting lines That spread across like vines

Entering your precious dreamland While you seek to understand What brought this psychic movement forth And what this poem is even worth

This poem is an attempt to express something that I’ve been experiencing lately. Since joining Medium, I have had several dreams about it. Mostly about writing and reading stories.

However, the past couple of weeks I had three dreams where I briefly interacted with some of you here.

I know I am writing about dreams and the nature of dreams rather often, and I even share poetry that’s based on dreams or derived directly from them.

In the way I understand it, the authors that I interacted with in my dreams all had recently shared something that I related with deeply. Therefore, their dream images most likely represent sides of me I want to get in touch with, and/or qualities that I would like to have.

I’m curious to know whether someone else also has had dreams influenced by their interactions here on Medium.

I think it’s a fun and interesting thing to happen, and I apologize in advance if someone feels creeped out!
