The question that has concerned the world of men for a long time:

Does size matter?

Many men think that the bigger the better when it comes to the male sex organ.

The expression “Big Dick Energy” is probably based on this assumption. Due to this assumption, penis size influences the self-confidence of many men enormously.

A whopping 68.3% of 200 men who participated in a study reported insecurities about their penis size.

I strongly suspect that the porn industry plays a big role in this, as it often gives an unrealistic image of penises.

What size do women actually prefer? Is there such a thing as too big?

A study in which women showed their preferences using models from the 3D printer provides the answers.

The 3D Printing Study

The study conducted by researchers from the University of California and the University of New Mexico is titled Women’s Preferences for Penis Size: A New Research Method Using Selection among 3D Models.

What it’s about is probably pretty clear from the title.

75 sexually active and at least 18 years old women from California, mostly white or Asian, participated in the study.

They were given 33 different 3D models of a penis, which differed in length and girth.

The length of these models ranged from 4.0 inches to 8.5 inches (10.2 cm to 21.6 cm) and the girth from 2.5 inches to 7.0 inches (6.4 cm to 17.7 cm).

Then they were asked to answer the following two questions to find out how the preferences for a long-term partner and a one-night stand differ:
