Dear followers, thank you!

I’m proud and humble 🖤 Wow, 600 people who want to follow my Medium journey!

I’ve been writing on Medium for about a year. I’m unfortunately not consistent in my writing. I write when I have something to say and can find a time window to sit down.

My life is nice but hectic. I’m a mother of two teenagers with a full-time job and kids who play football (afternoons, evenings, and weekends). I drive a lot but like to follow up with my girls.

Why do I keep writing

  • Since I think learning is my superpower, I write to learn about the writing process. I want to master the craft.
  • I’m also fascinated by this way of expressing myself. I never thought this was something I could do.
  • I want to thank Medium for the community and always having something cool I can read.

I’m proud and humble 🖤

What I would tell myself about writing when I was a beginner

  • It feels like every story takes forever to write when you first start. Don’t stress. You’ll get faster. Believe it or not, it is possible to write a story in one day!
  • Yes, it’s hard to write in your non-native language. But it’s doable. Just keep writing and learning.
  • Always use Grammarly. Some Norwegian words can quickly sneak into the text.

Get to know me through a quote:

“I love coffee. I sometimes get excited at night thinking of the coffee I’ll get to drink in the morning. Coffee is reason to wake up. There are other reasons, of course. But coffee is the incentive, at the very least.” — Annie Clark
