6 Different (and Fun) Reasons to be Fit and Healthy!
People work out for all kinds of reasons. Of course there are the traditional reasons like “lose weight”, “gain muscle”, “get off the couch” and things like that. BUT, there are other reasons as well!
I have some other reasons to be fit and healthy which you may be overlooking.
I’m sure you can scour the internet and find all kinds of articles which give you the same ol’ same ol’ reasons to be fit. So what I’m going to do is give you a few more reasons and a little blurb about each one.
Who knows, one of these reasons may just get you off the couch and start doing something with your body!
Yes, this will be different than what you have read before, but I also look at Fitness and Health a lot different that most others.
So, all that being said, I’ll outline MY version of the top six reasons to be fit and healthy. It may come across as cliche to you, but then again, it may not. You may get a chuckle out of these six reasons, or it may make you mad. The thing to remember is these are MY six reasons. Not some doctor, not some expert book, not some guru somewhere, just me and me alone. OK. All that being said, let’s get to the list.

The Top 6 Reasons To Be Fit and Healthy
Reason #1: You can be more comfortable hanging around with other Fit & Healthy people.
Have you ever noticed how confident fit people are compared to others? Oh sure, there are exceptions, but think about it, the better you look and feel, the more confident you are about yourself, yes?
Also, the less confident person can be picked out of the crowd in a heartbeat. Sometimes, that’s not good. So, get on the stick and start moving your body!
Reason #2: You will never again have to eat those nasty fast food burger and fries…. Biggie Style!
Yes, I know, people like those fast food burgers and biggie fries. It’s convenient, I know. But, you can do without! I’ve done without since December 31, 2006! You can read about it here.
If I can do it for all this time, you can do it for a few weeks, eh? Then, see how you feel and see if it’s worth it for you to go back.
Reason #3: Think of all the great tasting water you get to drink!
LOL! I threw this in because I have several friends who tell me, “ewww, I don’t like the taste of water!”
But, if you drink the right water, it will not have a bad taste! Which means it will more than likely taste like nothing or taste yummy! That choice is yours!

Reason #4: WOW! You’ll look so much better on the beach than those non fit & healthy folks. Which instantly gives you more “beach-cred”….if you know what I mean.
Everyone wants to look good on the beach, that’s just natural. Who usually stands out more (for good reasons)….someone who is fit or someone who is not?
I don’t know about you, but my eyes usually go towards the more fit and healthy people, what about you?
Reason #5: You can save time shopping at the grocery store because you’ll eliminate the potato chip isle!
Oh man, I love potato chips, but I seldom eat them. Also, I seldom eat junk food. Believe it or not, that saves you so much money and time at the grocery store! Have you ever paid attention to that isle? The whole isle is made up of chips and junk food. How would you like to skip it?

Reason #6: You’ll look MUCH better wearing those muffin-top shirts than the people who aren’t Fit & Healthy.
The first time I heard the words “muffin-top” I about fell out of my chair laughing! If you don’t understand that term, think of when you make those instant muffins in the oven. The kind where you have to break open the top (which scares some people when it pops!). When the goo starts to come out through the cracks of the package, that’s muffin stuff.
When you see people wearing a shirt, and their mid section hangs out over their pants, that’s like a muffin coming out of it’s package. Hence, muffin top!
The more fit and healthy you are, the less muffin will be coming out of your top. Get it?
There you have it, a great list to use for motivation!
I told you this wouldn’t be the same kind of list you’re used to reading. I like to add some humor mixed in with real life stuff when I throw my own spin on things!
