50 Cent’s Recent Vice City Tease Was Not Related to the Game.
We all thought he was teasing something about GTA, but in reality, it was for an unrelated TV series.

Recently, a teaser by rapper and actor Curtis (50 Cent) Jackson has sparked speculation about his involvement in the next Grand Theft Auto (GTA) game.
The teaser, which was cryptic, was actually for a new TV series titled Vice City, being developed by Paramount+ in collaboration with Jackson’s G-Unit Film & TV division. While it is unrelated to the GTA franchise, the series' plot sounds like it could be part of a GTA game.
The series follows the story of three former soldiers who return to Miami in the mid-1980s after a dishonorable discharge following the Iran Contra scandal. They are disgraced, displaced, and forgotten by the country they served and are left with no good job prospects.
To make ends meet, the three friends partner with a mysterious Colombian immigrant to form a heist crew, uniting their financial needs and criminal ambitions.
“Fueled by the need for American green, they traverse a violent and dangerous path in pursuit of the American Dream,” reads a line from the show’s description.
The series was created by writers and executive producers Darnell Metayer and Josh Peters, who also wrote the upcoming Transformers: Rise of the Beasts film. The John Wick franchise veteran, Chad Stahelski, serves as an executive producer and director for the Vice City series.
As for the GTA franchise, it is currently in development at Rockstar Games. According to a massive leak, the upcoming game is set in Vice City, which is a fictional version of Miami, and it will tell a Bonnie and Clyde-style story involving criminal siblings.
While the Vice City TV series and the GTA game are not directly related, the similarities in their plot are quite striking. Both are set in Miami, involve criminal activity, and feature a story about individuals seeking the American Dream through illicit means.
GTA is a long-standing franchise that has been a mainstay in the video game industry for years. Known for its open-world gameplay, immersive stories, and controversial content, the series has a massive fanbase that eagerly anticipates every new release.
