5 Craziest Things That Actually Happened At Walmart
Hard to believe situations which people actually witnessed.

WalMart Inc. is a company known for selling goods at an extremely competitive price while bringing value and creating opportunities to communities and its customers worldwide.
With over 10,500 stores worldwide and under 46 different banners in 24 countries, the company is among the world’s most successful.
Walmart has changed its slogan from consistently low price to Live Better after 19 years.
However, a company like Walmart can’t operate without any incidents or scandals, especially if you have more than 2 million employees and the combined working area around the globe is more significant than a small country.
The internet is full of crazy stories about Walmart, but here let’s dive into the details of some of the most insane ones.
1. Man Detonated Bomb At Walmart
Well, this is one of the worst things that ever happened at Walmart, and it is nothing less than a brutal act of terrorism.
In 2015 a white male pulled up at the entrance of Walmart in Mississippi at 1:30 am, allegedly lit something, and threw it in the lobby of Walmart.
As the man threw the explosives, he saw a Walmart employee who was apparently on his break. He told the employee to run before the explosives went off.
The explosive was made in a home-based lab. Thus the explosion didn’t cause much damage to the building.
The reason for committing such a horrendous crime was described by the criminal himself, Leonard, a 61-year-old male from Tupelo, Mississippi.
He confessed the reason of going this far: well, the company removed all the Confederate flags, and even after his countless warnings online, the company didn’t act upon it.
2. Shoplifter Bit Off Walmart Employee Finger

Many incidents exist where employees of Walmart are involved; sometimes, they are the victim, and in other cases simply guilty.
In 2016, a 23-year-old woman named Carolynn Wright was caught by loss prevention officers at Walmart. The woman allegedly carried some merchandise from the store that she didn’t bother paying for.
Things got out of hand when the officers tried to stop Carolynn Wright. She punched one of the security officers in the face, which caused bleeding, and bit a portion of the other officer’s finger.
One of the customers looking at this fight tried to call 911 but dropped her phone, which Wright grabbed. After throwing a punch to the face, she let go the customer.
The culprit ran away in her van after causing all this mayhem and 40+ dollars of goods, including lubricants, condoms, camisole, bra, panties, and other clothing. All that for $40. Yeah!
3. Walmart Patron Caught Masturbating
Well, this one is just absurd, a Walmart patron was spotted pleasuring himself in various sections of Walmart in South Carolina, and his excuse was that he had a problem and couldn’t stop sticking his hand in his pants. Well, this is what he told the police.
Police were called when the customers and Walmart employees allegedly saw Jeremy Bryant, a 23-year-old male exposing himself repeatedly while inside the store.
A Walmart employee told the cops that a female customer reported that Bryant was acting very weird in the men’s department.
Upon investigating, the employee saw Bryant with his genitals exposed, and he was pleasuring himself. Jeremy Bryant would cover himself if he suspected anyone looking at him or coming toward him.
A couple of other employees of Walmart also saw Bryant in his exposed state while he was in the store. Jeremy Bryant was arrested for indecent exposure.
4. A Custodian With Mental Issues Tried To Kill A Women

In 2015, a terrible incident was reported in Arkansas, Walmart, where a custodian who worked at Walmart randomly started shooting a woman.
According to the witness statement, the custodian approached the woman and fired multiple shots at the woman’s abdomen and arm.
However, the accused was found mentally ill and thus unfit to be trialed by the Arkansas court.
5. Walmart Patron Raped A Disabled Woman
William Beckford was found guilty and sentenced to prison for 54 years. William ended up in jail for luring a disabled woman out of Walmart and raping her behind the building.
On the 8th of June 2015, William approached the disabled woman (victim) while inside Walmart’s building.
He persuaded her to follow him to an area outside and behind the building, where he committed the horrendous rape.
The jury found the 51-year-old man guilty of fear & threat, forcible rape, sexual assault, and other related crimes.
Final Words
These incidents don’t make Walmart a lousy place to go shopping, especially for the essentials.
However, on the flip side, these incidents need to be addressed; honestly, they are not too hard to control.
Like other mega shopping marts, Walmart needs to adopt policies that will make sure no incident that can hurt the image of the brand happens ever again.
