Red Dirt, As Far as the Eye Can See — Part 2
February Six Word Photo Story Challenge: “Hide & Seek”
Everything has a shadow, even clouds.
When sunshine hits a cloud, its rays disperse in all directions. Even though only some light reaches the ground, it still forms a shadow. We don’t notice this because they’re hard to spot from the ground.
It’s easier to detect a cloud shadow when a cloud moves overhead. The light will darken slightly as the cloud passes.
But from the air, the shadows from clouds are easy to spot.
🔎🔎🔎🔎 Congratulations to pockett dessert, who ‘discovered’ both the cloud and its shadow in Red Dirt, As Far as the Eye Can See — Part 1.
Thanks for playing, Sandi xx
