3 Spiritual Ways to Open The Closed Doors in Your Life
You may have a key but it may not be the right key
1. By Finding The Right Key
Every house has multiple doors and each door will have its own set of unique keys. The key that will open the main door will not open the living room door.
You may stand in front of the living room door with the main door key and it will not work no matter what because you are holding the wrong key.
It takes more than effort or a desire to open a closed door. It takes finding the right key.
One key will not open every closed door. Only the right key can. If it’s the living room you need access to, you must find the living room door key.
The right key here is a metaphor for the right principles or practices.
These principles talk of knowledge, wisdom, understanding and even faith. There must be a knowledge and understanding of keys. Wisdom to know how to turn the key and faith that opens closed doors.
Spiritual practices also matter. You may use meditation to open one door and it’ll open easily because it’s the right key but you may try to use meditation to open another closed door and you’ll find that alone will not be very efficient.
The closed door may require prayer or fasting or reading scripture or solitude or some other key to open and so no matter how often you meditate, the door remains closed.
Another person may use prayer alone to try to open a closed door but it may not be efficient because they are missing other important keys like studying sacred scriptures and meditating on them.
The first way to open closed doors is to find the right key and use it. You need to use the correct practices and apply the correct principles.
But after doing all the practices and applying the right principles, if the door will not open, it may be time to drop the useless keys in your hands and start knocking.
“I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of heaven and whatever you bind in the earth will be bound in heaven and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”
2. By Knocking on The Door
There are certain closed doors in your life that cannot be opened by you directly. Trying to open a closed door with the wrong key; a door that you don’t have authority over will only waste your time and ultimately your life.
If you have the right key in your hands, you do not need anybody giving you access but without a key, you may need help. Someone must open it for you because you may not have the ability to open it yourself.
You need help to get in.
What you need to do is to knock.
Knocking is seeking help through men who may already be behind the door you wish to enter. It is obtaining help from men through mercy and favor.
To knock requires patience. It requires persistence and humility.
Some of the people behind the door may be destiny helpers who are placed behind the door so that when it is time for you to enter, they can usher you in.
All blessings come from God through men to men.
God will use a person to open a door for you but you must knock and keep knocking until it is heard from inside and someone rises up to let you in.
It is only those who knock that will have the door open. You need to learn how to hide your pride and knock for the door to be opened for you. But if after knocking all day long, you assume there’s no one behind the door to open it for you, then you may need to use some force to get it to open.
“Knock and it shall be opened to you.”
3. By Breaking it Down
There are doors that will not open no matter how hard you knock. There are times you knock and men should help you but because there is a spirit behind the door hardening their hearts, they refuse to help you.
There are times when keys break and you must find other means to get in.
It is not only keys that will open a door. Sometimes supernatural power is needed especially when demons and others entities are involved, preventing the door from opening.
You may have the right key in your hands and the door should open, but it refuses to open because there is a malevolent spirit behind the door.
Some doors will only open when force is used. Many resorts to the One who can send an earthquake from the heavens to shake the foundations of the earth and open the closed doors in your life.
When God comes as a savior looking to win your heart, he knocks at the door of your heart. When he comes as a warrior looking to save you from obstacles, he breaks down closed doors.
And when you call on the power of God, he does not come to open the doors in the house one by one. When the power of God comes, all doors are opened at once so you can go where you need to go and do what you've been assigned to do.
