3 Signs Your Relationship Is Not a True Twin Flame Relationship

Stop putting divine labels on toxic distractions

1. They Treat You So Bad

Your twin flame will trigger you. And that's for a reason. Triggers are messages that point you to the things you need to heal. Your twin flame comes to help you heal.

So if the person you're dealing with causes more things that will later need to be healed, that's not your twin flame.

It's a distraction.

You have a calling and a distraction.

If a person cheats on you over and over again, it's not real. It’s a distraction. If this person does more things to hurt you, that's a false twin.

Twin flames are streams of consciousnesses from the same soul that branches out to have many experiences. They're an extension of yourself.

A person who is an extension of you will not intentionally hurt you.

If they push, hit, or beat you, use discernment. Your twin flame will not hurt you.

They won't lie to you every time they open their mouth.

Love is honest.

A dishonest relationship is disrespectful to everything divine. Instead of a twin flame, call it what it is: a toxic relationship meant to distract you from yourself.

2. They Don't Care How You Feel

If God wants to heal your heart, he brings your twin flame into your life to help you heal. If the enemy wants to see you broken and distracted, he sends a false twin flame to keep you stuck and cause you more pain.

A person who truly loves you will not hurt you over and over again.

A true twin flame comes to show you what true love really is, so you can love yourself the same.

If this person you're calling a twin flame doesn't care whether you heal or cry yourself to sleep after they hurt you, that is not real.

That's a toxic person.

If this person doesn’t take care of themselves; if the lifestyle they live isn’t healthy for their body, mind, and soul, then how can they care for you?

If they are not learning every day; if they are not improving themselves and if they’re not growing spiritually, that's not a person that can help you heal.

Think about it.

The purpose of a twin flame relationship is wholeness. It's healing.

The purpose is to lead you toward God, yourself, and others.

3. They Don't Love You

A twin flame is a relationship planned by the two streams of the soul consciousness to experience something extraordinary.

Something like love.

Love is kind. If it treats you in a way that feels unkind, that's not your twin flame. Your twin flame treats you like they would treat themselves.

They respect you.

Your twin flame will honor you, honoring God and the universe. If they don't share your beliefs, they will respect them.

They will be open-minded.

There will be no resistance because you and your twin flame are of the same consciousness and, therefore, the same frequency.

Whatever you want to talk about will be heard. A true twin will be intrigued by your spiritual side. They won't make you feel crazy for believing in the things you believe in.

They will love you and everything about you.

Love is God.

If the relationship you’re putting a divine label on resists spirit and doesn't have love, they are not who you think they are.

Be careful in the world.

If the enemy smiles at you, don’t mistake that for love.

Watch out for the distraction meant to keep you from reconnecting with yourself.

The whole point of the twin flame journey is love. To lead you to yourself. All true flame wants to accomplish is to help you love yourself even when they’re running away from you.

It has always been about love.

The true kind.

Sometimes what you think is love is not the true kind. It could be lust. It could be an unhealthy attachment. It could be a soul disempowering soul tie.

Don't be fooled!

Twin flame love is kind in every action taken. It's pure love. There are no ill intentions.

The love is patient with life, themselves and others. They won't know arrogance and the only time they boast is when they’re giving thanks.

They won’t be easily angered. They will never put their hands on you except to pray for you.

They will never cheat on you, knowing how humiliating it is. As an extension of yourself, your twin flame will not dishonor you. It would be dishonoring themselves.

They won't be self-seeking. They will seek God. They will rejoice in telling you the truth, except to protect you from harm.

They will love God first, then they’ll love themselves. And then they can love you properly. They will hold your heart like their own.

If the love doesn't feel good on the spirit within, that’s not it.

Find the courage to walk away.
