3 Reasons to Upgrade Your iPhone XS Max to the 12 Pro Max
If You Have Second Thoughts, This Is What You Need to Know

Looking up Facebook Marketplace aimlessly, I found someone selling an iPhone 12 Pro Max 512Gb for £900 (The retail price for the iPhone 12 Pro is currently £999). The person said that he received it two weeks ago as a gift and didn’t like it. I mean, I already had an iPhone XS Max which — aside from broken back glass — was serving me really well. However, seeing this deal I said why not!
I didn’t think I would feel much different about both iPhones. The media always bombards Apple with how incremental its iPhone upgrades are, which can be true. However, jumping two generations of iPhone at one go. I have to say I did feel a difference.
Overall Design and Size
The iPhone Pro Max design is one of the best designs out there. If you are in love with the new iPad designs you’ll fall in love with this one. coming from an iPhone XS Max, I have to say this iPhone feels heavier in my hands. And because of the boxy design, I feel like I have a good grip of it all the time. Mind you though, The iPhone 12 Pro Max is BIG, it is definitely the biggest phone I have ever held. It’s not for one-handed users at all!
Camera
Having bought the phone at a bargain deal, I didn’t have to go through the whole dilemma of if the Pro Max camera is worth forking the extra money to get over the Pro. Having said, I would encourage anyone with at least two generations old iPhone and want to feel a camera upgrade to get one. The Photos are more vivid, have more contrast and you can notice the increased colour accuracy in every picture.

Battery Life
The 12 Pro Max is currently lasting me nearly two days. This includes an average of 2 hours of GPS and screen always on, about 1 hour of zoom meetings and the usual usage of checking my emails and going through social media apps. My screen time is averaging around 5 hours. So I pick up the phone from the charger in the morning and I put it back the following day in the evening, which is something I have couldn’t have ever done with a new iPhone XS Max. Knowing that the overall battery capacity of the 12 Pro Max is not huge compared to similar-sized phones. I think Apple has done a really good job of saving battery power.
Final Verdict
Knowing me, I would have never gone for an iPhone 12 Pro Max on a full retail price. So having bought the phone for £500 less than its retail price. I feel that the value of money for this phone is impressive. I would have probably bought a 128Gb Pro Max if I didn’t found that deal. The fact that you read this article tell how an iPhone nerd you are, I would upgrade my phone If I were you. Meanwhile, I now need to fix my XS Max back glass to sell it.
Let me know what’s your thought If you have upgraded as well.
