3 Quotes from Steve Jobs That Will Make You Think Differently
Apple’s iconic creator had a different approach to life, and his way of thinking will always be remembered.

There is no doubt that Steve Jobs is one of the greatest thinkers of our time.
The man created the first prototype of Apple products in his parents’ garage.
He had $1,350 in capital to start Apple, and it is now valued at $1.9 Billion dollars.
Clearly, his mindset in creating products that would benefit the world was perceived in a positive light.
Here are three quotes from Steve Jobs that will make you think differently.
Quote #1
Being the richest man in the cemetery doesn’t matter to me. Going to bed at night saying we’ve done something wonderful… that’s what matters to me.
— Steve Jobs
For Jobs, it was never about the money.
If he was money-hungry, then he wouldn’t have thought about creating new, groundbreaking products. He would have pushed sales for the same product year after year.
Apple is great at releasing products every year, and Steve’s vision was a huge part of that process.
To be able to say you’ve “done something wonderful” will go a much longer way than having a nice bank account.
It’s about what you do with your life versus how much money you make— that’s the mindset of someone who will leave a legacy.
Quote #2
Creativity is just connecting things. ― Steve Jobs
This is such a simplified approach to creativity.
When you want to put together a product, video, article, or anything in general — all you’ve got to do is connect things.
Creating connections within your projects and ways of thinking takes the pressure off a creator.
All you’ve got to do to be a creator is to keep your mind open to new possibilities and create the connections when you see them.
Often, it’s the most observant individuals who make the most influential creations.
Quote #3
Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. ― Steve Jobs
This final quote is my favorite one from Steve Jobs.
A lot of millennials need to hear it.
So many people are going out into the world to live the life that someone else wants for them, rather than the life they want for themselves.
You have to take life into your own hands and have the courage to decide what you want to do. You’ve got to make decisions on your own.
If that means moving out of your parents’ house to pursue something that you believe gives you more opportunity and fulfillment, then go for it.
Do what makes you happy. Don’t worry about everyone else.
Key Points
Time is short and you have to make the most of it.
Steve Jobs was only 56 years old when he passed away in 2011.
Yet we’re going to hear about his iconic company and name for a long time to come.
Don’t be afraid to think differently.
You just might change the world.
