2 Major Community Complaints Are Finally Being Addressed in Overwatch 2

Blizzard addresses the progression system and the Play of the Game system.

In this post, I will speak about Blizzard addressing the two most significant complaints that many Overwatch players have.

Overwatch 2, the popular hero shooter game, has faced several issues and complaints from the community since its release less than a year ago. Blizzard, the game developer, has been introducing periodic adjustments to fix these problems.

However, two major issues have continued to persist — the progression system and the Play of the Game (POTG) system. These issues have been the subject of recurring criticism from Overwatch 2 players, demanding more changes from Blizzard.

Recently, Blizzard has made a “major change” to the game’s matchmaking system to improve its quality. This change has been introduced during the final stretch of Overwatch 2 Season 3. However, players still feel that more changes need to be made to address other issues in the game.

In a new blog post from Game Director Aaron Keller, Blizzard has finally acknowledged the existence of the two major issues — the POTG and the progression systems.
