13 Things You Should Do Every Day to Live Happier and Healthier Life
You can’t run away from yourself.

There is no one way to live your life. Something good for you may not be good for others.
You don’t have to do or be something dramatic, or extraordinary to live an interesting and exciting life.
Small and simple changes, a few mind-shifts in thinking, and self-improvement are enough to shake up your world and make it more fun, fascinating and adventurous — on your terms.
1. Saying Thank You more often
If someone helped you, appreciated you, held a door for you, say thank you. This small gesture is enough to make yours and other days happier and nicer.
2. Doing those little-but-kind things yourself throughout the day.
When you’re at that weird moment of “Do I or don’t I”, just do it.
If you are craving a piece of chocolate, go for it,
If you want to try something new, go for it. Many times, we hesitate to try new things because of fear or because we are scared of the outcome.
3. Listening to music
My favorite therapy is to listen to my playlist. It instantly elevates my mood.
Listen to music for the mood you want to be in.
If you want to cheer yourself up, don’t sulk with sad and soppy music. get your favorite childhood favorite track to groove and show your moves.
4. Showing gratitude
It seems like a cliché but if you genuinely feel good about something in life, no matter how small it is. Say it aloud.
Whether it’s your very first workout, shifting to higher weight exercise, cooking your first perfect meal, buying that dress or sneaker you always wanted to, or just sipping hot coffee sitting in your favorite café has everything to make you feel content and happy.
5. Adding Intent to your daily life
Instead of mindlessly doing 100 different things, why not prioritize and focus on a few things that matter?
Like eating more veggies, and plants, adding some time to learn new cool stuff, or just taking a stroll in your neighborhood park.
When you start doing things with intent, you gain focus and mindfulness.
In today’s world, the focus is your new weapon.
6. Saying “hello” to people you meet
Say Hi to your neighbors, unknown people when you see them, and maybe even asking how their day was because come on, you live together.
It shows how compassionate you’re.
7. Doing meal prep
it’s a game changer for me. I prepare my meals and create a list of what I am going to eat for the next two to three days.
It helped me to eat better, and be healthy without skipping any meals.
Plan for your breakfasts, snacks, or lunches to take with you throughout the week.
There’s only one way to avoid paying a lot of money to eat terribly at the last minute, and that’s by planning.
8. Stop obsessing with the past
If I am being honest here, I am still not there yet.
Maybe because I am an overthinker and extra sensitive. It is time and energy consuming and it has all the power to ruin your mood in an instant.
I am learning to focus on better things and leave the past as it is.
Not obsessing over the stupid/embarrassing thing you said two years ago to keep you from sleeping or make you freak out in the shower.
My technique with this one is to say the thing out loud, laugh at myself, and force myself to think about something else.
9. Writing down everything
You don’t need to remember everything, your appointment, birthdays, shopping list.
The best way is to write down everything and make a list — use a whiteboard, or use a planner template, and note apps where you can see it every day — of the things you need to do.
10. Looking yourself in a mirror
Looking at yourself in the mirror and genuinely appreciating yourself.
Point out at least one thing in the mirror that you like and feel good about yourself.
11. Moving your body
You don’t need to do fancy things.
Just doing 10 minutes of stretching, and yoga can help you stay present and make you feel good about your body.
Nowadays I am more inclined toward Yoga to ease out from daily hustle.
12. Reflecting your day
Take a few minutes from your night routine to take at least a few minutes out of your day to think about things that you are happy about, things you can improve, and things you want to do differently tomorrow.
Allow the feeling of gratitude to fill you up and motivate you to carry the good things over and leave the pointlessly negative things behind.
13. Overcoming Perfection
Realize that you are not perfect, that no one else is, it can change the entire game for you.
Every single person on this planet is unique nd has their own story and their flaws.
Accepting that you are work in progress can set you up to have a growth and open mindset up. It can help you become less judgmental towards other people and bring empathy in you.
Final thoughts,
You don’t have to do anything extravagant to experience a little variety in your life. Let go of the reins a bit and see where the ride takes you.
Meeting new people, finding a poem, or a reviving a a tiny things in your daily life can benefits you to breaking out from the mundane.
