HOW TO MAKE MONEY AS A WRITER

10 Years of My Freelancing Knowledge in 2 Mins

it’s not that difficult.

It’s all about consistency and patience!

If you are a writer and haven’t made at least $1,000 yet, this article will be very useful.

I’ll share my findings in this article. Knowledge with little flavors from — Fiverr, Amazon KDP, Gumroad, Medium, and Ghostwriting!

7 Powerful Steps for Writers

  1. I earn money as a writer because I WRITE EVERY SINGLE DAY. Whether it’s for my ebooks or articles, I do it every single day. I hardly take a day off. Not because I want to become a multi-millionaire author, but simply because I want to be in a consistent flow. Daily routine matters a lot.
  2. Warm DMs help a lot if you need clients. No one will come to you just because you have a profile on a freelancing platform. Promote your Fiverr profile on your social media platform (ANY ONE PLATFORM). Build a relationship with your audience. Your audience is your future client.
  3. Remember, not all should be your target clients. Niche and platforms matter a lot. I can write well on wealth and tech niches, but not on health and relationship niches. Become a master in one thing and price high!
  4. Only 1–2 social media platforms will work for you — I work on only a few platforms. I don’t promote my work everywhere now because it’s time-consuming. I didn’t even make an account on the thread. Pick only a few and stick to them. Remember, it’s a long-term game!
  5. Don’t leave your day job yet. Trust me on this. I had a tough time with my finances. I jumped into the freelancing boat without a lifesaver. Go for less stressful jobs, like teaching, etc. This will save you time and energy and then divert it towards your ultimate goals.
  6. When working, make sure you don’t discuss much with others. Always work in silence.

Conclusion

Every online business that I have started has a simple foundation — an idea that I love.

I love music, so I started an online music store.

I love tech, so promote my work on my blog and now on YouTube. I made my first sale recently on YouTube! I used Gumroad for delivering my products.

I love writing ebooks, so I started on Amazon KDP, then Fiverr, and now I have three Gumroad accounts.

Every business starts with your passion. If you have passion and interest, making a full-time income is not far away from you.

Find your passion and start working on it. There is no better time to start a new goal than now!

2024 is coming. Just a few days to go!
