10 Ways You Can Succeed in 2022
Make It Happen! Live your dream life in 2022

2021….was a great year for me.
If I take down memory lane. I achieved the following things:
- Quit 9 to 5 job and became Self-employed
- I started working on my dropshipping store (it’s in the process)
- I started working on passive income stream models.
I’m grateful for every lil and big thing I’ve achieved in 2021.
That was about me. Now let’s talk about you:
What do you want to do in 2022?
Are you dreaming of a new career, a home purchase, or even starting your own business?
Do you dream to become the next successful travel blogger like Jennifer Lobo (she is up there — look at the featured image) or want a life of a Digital Nomad?
No matter what your goal is, 2022 is your year to achieve it.
Whatever your goal is for 2022, I have 10 things that will help make it happen for you.
1) Set realistic goals
It’s important to have big dreams, but make sure your goals are achievable. When you’re working towards something that is realistically within reach, you’ll be more likely to achieve it.
I knew that if I wanted to be self-employed, I had to set goals and commit. In 2020, I started taking small steps and achieved that goal in 2021
2) Start with small steps
Don’t try to do everything at once. When you’re trying to reach a big goal, it’s important to break it down into smaller goals so you can track your progress..
Don’t give up when you don’t reach your goal right away.
It’s easy for me to get discouraged when things aren’t happening as quickly as I want them to — but it’s important to remember that Rome wasn’t built in a day!
3) Take advantage of technology
Technology has changed our lives.
Utilize technology and make the process faster.
Apps that helped me along the way are Asana, Calendly, and Slack.
Fun Fact about having Asana: Perhaps some of you will laugh, but yeah, I set deadlines for myself on Asana. When the notification shows up on my cellphone…ahh! My neurons get nervous. Loool! (But it keeps me on track)
Calendly: Those clients who want to have a meeting, I send them my Calendly link. (Trust me, it’s a life savior)
Slack: Instead of using notes, I use slack; whenever I want to note down something, I save it on the Slack bot.
4) You need to be passionate
One of my favorite quotes is by Tony Robbins: “If you do what you’ve always done, you’ll get what you’ve always gotten.”
So how can we change our lives if we’re not happy with the results? We must take massive action and find something that makes us happy.
See, your goal shouldn’t be to be rich or famous; it should be to do something that you’re passionate about.
“Your time is limited, don’t waste it living someone else’s life.”
- Steve Jobs
5) Acquire new skills
Don’t get stuck in the game of “I know it all” because you’ll eventually hit a plateau.
Keep learning and acquiring new skills because that’s what will set you apart from your competition.
Remember, the world is constantly changing so you must be willing to adapt as well.
I didn’t know how to run successful ad campaigns, I didn’t know a thing about dropshipping but I learned.
And did I stop there? I’m continuously learning new things so I can stay ahead.
There are countless resources online that you can use to acquire new skills and knowledge, all you have to do is invest the time into learning them.
Be open-minded when it comes to acquiring new skills because there’s always something more for us to learn.
6) Do not stop until the very end
What holds you back?
The fear that you can’t reach your goal?
You know what! When we try, we learn in the process. We don’t get failed; we LEARN.
My first ad campaign was an epic fail. Even the second one as well. But the third one was a big hit! Do you know why?
I learned in the process and implemented what I learned.
So, don’t be afraid to try and learn new things. It’ll only make you better in the long run! :)
7) Don’t ask anyone for advice who hasn’t done it before
The best advice my friend gave me: Never take advice from people who haven’t done what you want to do.
Why?
Because they don’t know what they’re talking about! They might have great intentions, but in the end, their advice won’t help.
And some don’t want you to succeed. So be aware of those who do the thing you want to do, yet they advise you not to do it.
8) Take Calculated risk
I know most of you don’t want to hear this, but it’s the truth. You won’t get anywhere if you don’t take risks.
Now, I’m not talking about stupid risks where you’re going to put your life in danger.
I’m talking about calculated risks that have a good chance of succeeding.
Trust me; if you’re afraid to take the risk, nothing will change.
9) Do the charity
This may sound a bit off-topic to some, but you will get a lot of good karma.
Not only you’ll attract good karma, but you will feel better about yourself.
Of course, this doesn’t mean you should start donating everything to charity.
However, if you do it once a week and even give only $100 per year (which is not much), this will make a big difference.
Donating my things, my clothes, money helped me a lot. I started feeling more blessed. My gratitude level increased, and I witnessed blessings coming my way.
10) Be mindful of how you spend money
The temptation is real when we see something we want, but if we’re mindful of spending our money, we can save more and have less stress.
One way to do this is to have a budget and track your spending for a month.
You may be surprised at where all your money goes! (I was terribly ashamed after knowing that I spent most of my money on clothes)
Bonus Advice no 1: Start a side hustle
Working on your side hustle will allow you to earn more money and build up your own business.
If you have a passion for something, start working on it in the evenings after work or during weekends. You can also look into freelancing through sites like Fiverr or Upwork.
Bonus Advice no 2: Take care of your health
Your body loves you. It’s your time to give the love back by taking care of it.
One way to do this is by exercising regularly and eating healthy foods. (I try my best to do it. But yeah I struggle too)
You don’t have to go on a diet, but make small changes in your lifestyle that will have a big impact on your health over time.
Partying thoughts
Don’t get me wrong, I love a good party as much as you. But if all you do is party, you’re not going to be successful in 2022.
This time, don’t waste your 2022 by dreaming of success.
MAKE IT HAPPEN!
