You grab the life-stone from Dyra, and point it towards Death. You don’t know how the thing works, but you focus your attention on harming him.

Somehow responding, the stone shoots out an electric bolt.

Death screeches.

Burns.

A pile of ash smoulders.

“Nice. Now give it back,” says Queen Dyra, in a commanding voice.

But the stone feels like it’s part of you now…

“I feel the need… for a scythe,” you say. And one appears in your other hand. It sweeps through the air, and Dyra falls at your feet.

Then you look at the troops.

And grin.
