BJ’s This or That Valentimes (or Valentine’s) Love Challenge

I’m dipping my big toe in the tidal pool of love. Watch out for the waves. They will get you. That said, with nothing but big, big love for BJ, here’s my entry to her Valentimes Challenge.

White Chocolate or Dark Chocolate?

The blacker the berry, the sweeter the juice. Throwback to 2Pac. I also like 90 percent dark chocolate with a good cup of coffee.

Massages or Bubble Baths?

Bubble baths. It’s easier to hide small-ish things under the water.

Romantic or Cynic?

At my age, I’ve grown accustomed to being a cynic. But for the right woman, romance is everything to me.

Red Light or Green Light?

Yellow light, because sometimes you have to slow down and make that moment last.

Phones or No Phones?

No phones. I’ll remember her eyes, lips, and smile. No selfies are needed.

Love at First Sight or Slow Burn Love?

That’s a tough one. Sometimes you know. Other times, you’re not sure.

Appetizers or Dessert?

Appetizers are kisses; dessert is the morning after. The entrée, however, can and should be a special moment.

Thin or Thick?

If you’re fortunate enough to have the love of a woman, thin or thick, it’s irrelevant.
