How To OutSmart AI In NonFiction Writing
AI Threat May Be Real But Is It That Scary?
Automated responses in a call center are around for a while now. And we all know how it sounds.
It sounds as boring as the constant ticking of a clock in the middle of the night!
There is a lot of buzz around how Generative AI will impact non-fiction and Medium writers. But if writers rely on Generative AI too much, their articles will sound lifeless too.
Although AI models have the capability to self-learn, we as humans have the natural ability to evolve and adapt. It’s in our genes. I am optimistic that no matter how AI tries, it will never be able to add the needed human touch.

This reminds me of an advertisement for one of the Big 4 banks of Australia.
In this ad, a man is frustrated after hearing all the automated responses from different vendors. When he happens to visit this bank’s branch, he is greeted by a bank manager. This man is so happy to see a human that he hugs the manager.
Readers will continue to appreciate the sociality you display in the articles. So, if you present them with stories full of emotions and real intelligence, or lack of intelligence, you will continue to impress the readers.
I believe as long as writers add their individuality to their work, they will continue to thrive.
What’s your opinion?
Before I published this article, I asked ChatGPT to tell me how to add a human touch to an article 😃.
