You Create Your Beautiful Days

Day 54: How you envision your day is the key to joy

This is my lazy Sunday. Yes, I am writing today, just like every day, but today is my day to just let things flow. I am slowly enjoying my yoghurt, fruit, and granola bowl, and my cup of coffee. Instead of going into chores and action, I am taking time to rest and let the day unfold around me. These are precious days where I “do what I feel like” and see what direction life takes me. I usually plan and have routines, but I feel that some days, the soul needs to rest. I believe this is part of the spiritual journey I am on for 100-days as I learn from and explore the book Miracles by Stuart Wilde among his other works.

Create your day the way you want it. See it going well. See each person you meet as positive and open to your energy. See the day as harmonious and flowing and see yourself evolving through each and every experience. -Stuart Wilde

I usually go for a walk each morning, water the plants, do some chores and keep going and going each morning. This morning I am taking it slow. I am paying attention to what sounds good to me. I am nurturing myself through this beautiful day as it unfolds. This day is mine. It is joyful and it is loving.

As you begin to concentrate upon yourself, and as you begin to see your life in dedication, then of course energy grows, and it grows very, very quickly. -Stuart Wilde

I feel my energy rising today, and with that higher energy sometimes comes a need to rest, to recenter myself in a loving way. Not from a place of being tired, but from a place of joyful renewal, of hope, and of strength. Today I renew my spirit through rest and letting the day guide me.

My prayer and my intention for you today is that you find a day that is yours, as much as you can. You may only be able to find an hour that is completely yours, that is perfect! Allow that time to unfold for you and pay attention to what your spirit needs.

What does a day of rest look like to you? How can you renew your spirit?
