The presence of the shadow becomes simply too much for you to handle.
You refuse to challenge its power to which it takes up the advantage.
The night once illuminated by The Pumpkin Moon is cast out entirely forming a massive peak of darkness.
Soon after a myriad of other figures bearing the same eye cloak as the shadow surround you.
Their voices join in unison circling you like sharks.
The gardens become enveloped in a storm that rains down upon you.
The eyes begin to disappear completely and you are knocked out by a swift gust of wind pushing you to the ground.
The world begins to fade as you wither out of existence.
As quick as such a perilous event arrived you were delivered from evil into a cozy bedroom.
While your eyes open you observe your surroundings which stand as no less alien to you than the gardens.
Lifting your torso upward from the sheets you glance around bewildered still remembering the dreadful encounter.
A fireplace sits in front of the bed its emerald embers crackling slowly.
“Something feels…off.”
Even with the superficial serenity of the bedroom, your mind senses the incongruity of the environment.
The sharp chime of a clock echoes out from the doorway which sits slightly ajar.
You leave the bed to find yourself fully clothed wearing a beige coat and black pants your feet bare.
You are left with a decision.
