Writing Prompt: The Forerunner
Here’s our fifth prompt for September for Hope Springs Eternal
Remember, this is a crossover collab month with The Dystopian Project founded by Jann, a writer at Microcosm and a 100 Story Challenger.
They Lead From the Front
When the world ended, the Forerunner rose up.
They always said when the world is in chaos, a leader will rise up to guide the way. This forerunner will be someone who is strong and inspirational, someone who can bring people together in times of trouble.
This person will be a force for good, a spotlight in the darkness.
This person will be a force for evil, a darkness devouring the light.
They will lead the way to a better future, away from the chaos. Inspiring others to follow their example. This leader will create a new society, one built on justice, equality, and freedom.
Reluctantly ruled with an open hand.
Ruthlessly ruled with an iron fist.
From the ashes of civilization, they led the way, guiding others through the darkness. They were the light in the darkness, the hope in the despair.
They were the ones who showed the way to a new beginning.
