We all have something that matters most to us in life. For some people, it may be an object, a person, a place, a hobby, an interest, or an ideology.

How do you discover the one most important element in your life that defines you as a person? A thought or an idea that defines you is something that you are truly passionate about, and which makes your life complete. Would you say that writing a novel, creating something of value, winning a grand prize would define you as a person?

I have always enjoyed writing and publishing having been inspired to take to writing by my father. Over the years, I have followed closely the developments in the field of writing and publishing. When I was younger I was fortunate to see the old printing letter-presses, where alphabets had to be placed in the printing frame. That was the time of wood-frame printing presses with lino-blocks and zinc-block printing for photographs.

Things started to change in the field of publishing as digital printing came into existence. Wonders could be done on a computer, copies printed from an electronic printer and you could hold the master-copy in your hand within hours.
