Get a Writing Coach to Succeed
Every writer needs to be inspired and encouraged to create their best work
My other exciting role apart from being an author is that of a Writing Coach. I am a qualified Life Coach. Since writing is my passion, I have developed a role as a Writing Coach.
Sometimes an author faces Writer’s Block and it is then that he or she needs to be inspired and encouraged to get back to writing. It is during these moments of despair in the life of an author that the role of a Writing Coach comes into play.
The Writing Coach does not tell the Author what needs to be done. Instead, the Coach will help the Author to discover the answers themselves. By asking the Author the right type of questions, the Writer’s Coach will succeed in helping the individual to discover hidden resources which they can use.
On the other hand, a writer may be about to start writing about a particular topic but he or she is not sure how to start. At this instant, the Author’s Coach is the sounding-board for the Author to express his or her ideas.
My primary writing Coach is my Father, who has helped me explore ideas that I had on a number of topics over the years. I have other Writing Coaches as well, who have guided me and still mentor me, as I make my journey on the path of the Writer.
You need your own writing Coach to assist you in the exploration of your mind and its creativity. A writing coach is needed for the following reasons:
- To act as a sounding board for your ideas, which you are keen to describe and yet have difficulty in expressing. It is only when those ideas are expressed aloud to another person that we see them form in our minds.
- To help you to overcome writer’s block. You need someone to inspire and encourage you at this time when you feel that you are wasting your efforts in writing.
- To encourage you to continue doing your literary work, in order to fulfill your personal writing ambitions.
- To help you to discover and recover lost ideas, treasures, and concepts, which you can use as a writer today in your work.
- To act as a non-biased Mentor and Guide to assist you on your journey to the Writer’s Life.
