Write Once, Sell Twice — How I Put My Digital Products Everywhere
I read a Medium story about this recently. It was something I had been thinking about for a while.
I decided to put it into practice.
Write once, sell twice, or sell everywhere.
The idea is to put your digital products everywhere so you can sell more copies of your products. There are tons of places online where you can do this and it’s a smart way to amplify your income.
Here’s how I’m doing it…
Where to sell your products online?
My main sales channel is Gumroad.

And, I’m in the process of getting my books on AppSumo and other places across the web.

How do sales bundles work?
Another smart marketing strategy that can earn you money is getting your ebooks listed in bundles.
There are these huge product bundle sales that happen a few times a year. The two I participate in are BC Stack and Ultimate Bundles.

The organizers get hundreds of authors and entrepreneurs together to donate their books to the bundle.
In exchange, you get an affiliate link at a special contributor rate which is usually 70% to 80% or so, compared to a much lower rate for regular affiliates.
So, you’re giving your ebook away to hundreds or thousands of people who buy the bundle and get a chance to promote the bundle at a high commission rate.
Giving away the book can earn you money another way, too:
- Refer affiliate products in your ebook and,
- Set up an email list landing page to collect subscribers
Imagine having an affiliate link to a $25 commission product in your ebook and having 500 people of the thousands who buy the bundle, make a conversion.
$25 X 500 people = $12,500 commission!
Next, imagine getting 2,000 new people on your email list, as a result of opting into your list from the bundle.
Then, all the potential sales opportunities that can result from that!
Write once, sell twice — Is it worth it?
Most definitely. I don’t think there’s a downside to gaining more visibility for your products.
It can get kind of complicated, I’d imagine, trying to navigate the fees that exist on different platforms, sales, etc. but, in all, I still think it’d be worthwhile to look into.
Have you sold your products on multiple platforms?
What was your experience? Any words of advice?
