Would I Be Lost Without You?
This short little piece is dedicated to my guide dog, Cooper

I ran out of coffee, put salt in my tea, and matched my blue shirt with a skirt colored green.
I hopped on the wrong bus and went in the out door. I stepped off the elevator on the wrong floor.
While under the weather, you’ve got the day off, and I’m on my own while they tend to your cough.
You’re probably bored, so get better real quick. Let’s get back to normal, I am lost when you’re sick.
We’ll walk in the morning, so get lots of rest, today I feel scattered but with you, life’s the best.
P.S. Cooper’s not sick, I didn’t get on the wrong bus (not in the last six months anyway) and I made up the skirt colored green.
Today’s random word for the 100-word drabble challenge was lost.
