Wins of the Week #5— Slow Week, But Let’s Find Some Wins Anyway
WOW — February 12 Through February 18, 2024
Some weeks honestly feel so slow.
There isn’t anything exciting happening. Earnings have slowed down. Affiliate sales have slowed down…
That’s how it’s been feeling for me lately.
But…
This is the exact time to pull together a “Wins of the Week” story.
That’s when you most need to get yourself together and see that things are still happening, even if it’s a little slower.
Then remind yourself that this is a marathon (an ultra-marathon, even!) and not a sprint. It’s fine if some weeks are slower. That’s just how it goes.
- I wrote and published 9 articles, and 4 of those were added to publications.
- I gained 12 new subscribers to my newsletter. (I’m up to 483 as of today.)
3. I was mentioned in 4 stories by other Medium writers. I always appreciate a nice shout-out, so thank you!!
4. I got 2 out of 3 of the most-clapped stories in the Minimalist Side Hustles Publication this month.
(The other was Angelo Molinari. Give Angelo a follow if you haven’t.)
5. Last week I was at 2k followers on Medium, and now I’m over 2.1k.
6. I’m over $300 in earnings so far this month. I’m not sure I’ll be able to hit that goal of $700 for the month, but then again, anything can happen… (especially if I can achieve that goal of getting a story boosted).
7. I had 3 more sales of my Medium Money ebook and 10 more downloads of my free affiliate marketing ebook. (Someone even gave me $5 for my freebie. So nice!)
8. One thing that I am really happy about is that my articles pretty consistently get good read ratios. These are all from this month:
This makes me feel like I’m doing something right!
Even though it didn’t feel like an exciting week full of progress, it was still a pretty good week.
That’s why it’s important to look back and find successes to keep you motivated and moving forward.
I can’t wait to see what this week brings!
