At Real, we’re interested in the human experience.

• What’s your story?
• What have you been through?
• What happened to you that made significant changes to your personality?
• What have you learned from your life experiences?

We publish only real-life stories, no fictional pieces.

The goal is to create a hub where you can find true life stories and experiences of people worldwide.

The type of story doesn’t matter. Whether it’s about love, loss, trauma, a divorce, humour, a breakup, or a memoir, as long as it’s a true life story, it’s permissible.

We also accept stories narrated in the third person’s POV. i.e., it doesn’t have to be a personal story. It can be about a friend, partner, relative, or colleague.

We don’t condone racial, ethnic, national, geographical, or religious discrimination. We encourage respect and courtesy among writers, editors, and readers.

We would not hesitate to report and remove writers who violate these guidelines.

Submission Guidelines

• Short pieces with a minimum of a 2-minute read are allowed. However, all articles will be reviewed by the editors to be deemed fit for publishing.
• Articles are required to have well-formatted titles and subtitles. (Refer to Medium’s guidelines).
• Articles must contain an image, and their source must be well-cited.

We welcome lovers of life stories and experiences, both readers and writers, to join our publication.
