Attention, Writers: Application's Closed! But…
Real news update!
As of today, we’ve officially closed our application process for new writers. The responses we received were overwhelming, and we’re grateful for the interest and incredible talent you’re offering us.
Moving forward, we will carefully review each application and select new writers based on experience, and the quality of their stories. We want to ensure that every story we publish captivates, inspires, and moves our audience.
Another way to think of this change is, we’re moving from quantity to quality. The goal is to make Real a Hub of human experiences. A magazine of true life tales. And a catalog of exceptional memoirs.
Also, in line with our commitment to creating a vibrant community, writers who haven’t contributed stories in 2 months will be removed from our publication. We value active participation and encourage all members to share their voices regularly.
More so, this publication is hosted on Medium, and we follow Medium’s guidelines and rules. We firmly stand against discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, or religion. We expect all our writers, editors, and readers to treat each other with respect.
Should any writer violate these guidelines, we will not hesitate to take appropriate action, including reporting and removing them from our publication. Our goal is to maintain a supportive and inclusive community that encourages openness and growth.
Everyone matters. You matter. So does your story. And we want to hear it.
