Why You Need to “Make Your Bed” Every Morning
Every Successful Person Says This
But why, and most importantly,
Does it lead to your desired success?

I've heard it, you've heard it, your dentist's therapist’s aunt has heard it:
“I wake up and make my bed immediately.”
Where have we all heard this repeated statement?
On Ted Talks.
On podcasts.
In interviews.
In books.
And the list goes on and on.
Who says this sentence?
Every single (and I mean every single) productive person.
Funny, isn't it?
We all want blueprints of how people reached their success, what steps they took, what mistakes they made and the best piece of advice they can give to us is always:
Start waking up early and make your bed the second your feet touch the ground.
BUT WHY?
Why?
No, but seriously…
(Whispers why)
I have a theory!
Some countless studies and researchers will give you proper answers, but I think I have found out why, successful people torture us with the words:
Make your bed.
Because…
(Time for the big reveal)
(Drumroll)
(More drumroll, because I like to dramatize unnecessarily)
It was never about having a made bed.
(Mic drop)
I mean, yes, your mother will be incredibly impressed by how well you tucked your sheets in, but that's not why you need to start doing it.
Discipline.
Habit.
Consistency.
Persistence.
Gratitude.
Positive mindset.
Routine.
You have most likely also heard all of these words, especially if you're into self-help and productivity books/podcasts.
These words are all components of anyone's success.
You need all of them, to make it big.
But it is quite a hassle acquiring all of them at once.
Which is where making your bed comes in.
This one simple task enables you to possess all the words mentioned above.
That is, if you do it consistently, properly, and happily.
It is the first successful thing you did to start your day perfectly.
I kid you not, it is honestly life-changing if you stick with it.
Quite ironic how making your bed can lead you to making more money than what the bed itself costs.
I know, I know, there isn't a guarantee.
But you will never regret making your bed when you wake up.
So, tomorrow when you wake up. Instead of hitting that snooze button and snuggling into your blanket.
Get up. Smile. Be grateful you have a place to rest your head and
make your bed.
(Damn, that even rhymed)
