Why Wouldn’t they Ban Bitcoin Right Now?

This is a defining moment for BTC

Thanks Bitcoin.

Thanks for fueling the evil Russian empire.

Thanks for keeping their economy alive and allowing criminals to win.

Those aren’t my words. They are the ethos of a CNN article published yesterday by Miss Allison Morrow. It’s Bitcoin’s fault for the war; not America’s. In order to believe that, you have to also believe this:

  • It’s not America’s fault for creating a Ponzi scheme economy that is $30T in debt and also eradicated worldwide faith in the dollar.
  • And it’s not America’s fault for bullying countries like Iran, Venezuela, Ecuador, Guatemala, and, ironically Russia, by forcing them to abide by our fake Ponzi scheme economy and follow our hedonistic Western values.

Of course, no one believes any of that. The truth is that Russia can’t implement quantitative easing or money printing as effortlessly as America can. We forced them into this position. Us. As in U-S-A.

We’re the bad guys, too.

And now Bitcoin is the only thing that gets us out of this.

War? What war?

Bitcoin is a tool like anything else.

Blaming Bitcoin for Russia’s ability to overcome economic sanctions is like blaming the Wright brothers for 9/11.

It’s absurd.

I’ll tell you what Bitcoin did for the world, and in a way, I’m sorry it did it. It forced countries to be more honest towards each other.

Bitcoin severely limits countries, like America, to have a fake economy and get away with it for long, because now anyone can choose what’s behind door number 3: Bitcoin.

America doesn’t have power as it once did. Power only works if you’re willing to use it — which Russia and China are.

By escalating war in Ukraine — and China ostensibly in Taiwan — both countries called America a pussy to our face, and we did nothing about it.

All building up for the West to ban crypto

Serious question:

Why wouldn’t America ban ownership of Bitcoin as they did with gold in the 1930s?

This is where things get complicated.

Banning Bitcoin literally proves that it did its job. Because banning Bitcoin pretty much means you ban the internet.

You are banning code. Code is free speech. As my syllogism teacher would conclude: Banning Bitcoin is banning free speech.

Unfortunately, I wouldn’t put it past the Biden administration to at least consider bans, or at the very least, propose stricter regulations on crypto.

All I know for sure is some idiot blogger will unironically say “Bitcoin is dead.” Hey, moron, just because you say this doesn't make it true. Everyone holding Bitcoin doesn’t just say “Well, shit, I guess I’ll sell now.”

Thoughts and prayers

I’m not going to virtue signal and say I stand with Ukraine or Russia.

I’m American, I don’t even know where these countries are.

In all honesty, the geopolitical relationship between the two nations is complex, and even as someone who pays close attention to politics, I don’t think it’s in my lane to take a stand.

The people who are most vocal about their “thoughts and prayers” didn’t even pay attention to or care about Ukraine one week ago.

However, what I do stand against is violence as a tool for conflict resolution. Humans have the capacity for diplomacy; so it is depressing when we default to barbarism to resolve disagreements.

Final Thoughts

The crazy part is that even though the Fed needs to quell inflation — now because of this war they’ll have to launch another round of quantitative easing so that the American economy doesn’t collapse.

Gas prices, food prices, and inflation are about to go parabolic.

It’s our fault. We’ve played games for far too long in America. We’re spoiled, fat, narcissistic, hedonistic, stupid, delusional, and sanctimonious to a fault.

This is why Bitcoin will ultimately work out. It’s the truth. It finally allows for us to have faith in a financial system — and the US government, Bitcoin deniers, and corporate media are seething because of this.

Bitcoin is going to have a rough next few weeks.

But ultimately this will be its defining moment.

Ever since I was a child it was my dream to become a financial advisor. Unfortunately, it never came true. Therefore I am not a financial advisor and you should do your own research and not just listen to random people on the internet. Nothing contained in this publication should be construed as investment advice.
