Why It Makes You Happy To Do Things For Yourself
Who doesn’t want to do things for themselves? I want. I do sometimes. But I am also alone Woolf. I want to be alone a lot.
I want to be alone, with my thoughts, and with my feelings. Nobody around me. Wonderful. I love it so much. Not that I don’t want to be with my children or anyone else, but I realize I need me-time sometimes. That’s not even the case. Some people might think that. Then they’re wrong.
That ‘me-time’ is a great way to do things for yourself or with your friends. Like going on a trip with your best friends. Like walking in the woods, all by yourself. Going to the movies and see the scariest movie you’ve ever seen.
What I did once was going to a restaurant cafe myself. Reload myself from the daily hustle. Drink a cup of coffee or tea. Writing and talking to people you don’t know.
It makes me happy to do things on my own. It makes me really happy. It's just I’m on my own. Do crazy things you normally don’t do it. I realize it is good for your health as well.
Here’s why you should things on your own
When you’re on your own you’re deciding what to do. Not anyone else. It is good to decide things for yourself. It gives you the little confidence you need. You also need to go on a hike by yourself or going to the spa with your besties. Just doing things for yourself and not the daily things alone.
When I went to the beach, I was happy that day. Or the day I went with my oldest daughter. Then you don’t think about the daily side of life. I love to do that. I mean you’re getting a smile on your face when you have done that hike you dreamt about. Or played that song with your band. I just named a few things.
What helps me is listing everything I still want to do. You have an overview of what you want to achieve in your life. Categorize everything. I have bought some listing notebooks to do that. Even for the restaurants I truly like and appreciate. Or a notebook for raising my children; I can write the best quotes of them and the precious moments of them.
