No, it wasn’t always this way.

I tried to be the popular kid. I wore a ton of make-up, dressed up in sexy clothes, talked trash.

Fish out of water.

Trying to fit in but not exactly succeeding.

I hated acting like someone I wasn’t. I love my space, the company of my thoughts, nature, and books.

Then why?

Try asking that to an insecure teenager.

I’m no stranger to attention. But sometimes appearances can be misleading. Some fall for the aesthetics but not be able to correlate that to an extremely shy, introverted nature. Or a high IQ, for that matter.

Enter Medium.

I share my vulnerabilities here; I let my personality come across through my words.

Authenticity is messy and the most beautiful aspect in life,” — Ellie Jacobson
