Why I’m Eating Raw Beef Liver Every Week
And why I think you should too
Why do I eat beef liver?
The following statement is something I truly believe:
Not many foods are worthy of the title “superfood.” However, liver is one of them. (1)
Liver is a fantastic source of many important nutrients, like Vitamin B12, Vitamin A, riboflavin, folate, iron, copper, and so on (1).
Liver is one of the most nutritionally dense foods on the planet. (2)

Why do I eat liver?
To ensure I get a good source of all the nutrients my body needs every week.
Why do I eat it raw?
Because I don’t like it fried, boiled or grilled.
How to eat beef liver
I buy a large piece of liver, preferably from a local farm or from the grocery store. I’m super happy if I can find grass-fed liver.
When the liver is in the house, I cut it into pieces of 150 grams (my serving size). I eat liver 1–2 times a week.
I cut the liver into bite-sized pieces and sprinkle them with cinnamon. Then I swallow the pieces with water and a little cream.
