Why I Aim For a Consistency Over $0.99 Per 300 Articles on The Daily
My Challenge of $300/day Full-Time Earning Writing on Medium
Vacation needed
I need a vacation soon but this ambitious goal of mine to be a full-time dedicated writer on Medium wasn’t turning out so well.
Clap at the bottom, ok?
My Early Mathematicas & $300+ Daily Potential
I used some mathematics to figure out that even the lowest and worst articles I write (which was true months ago as a beginner) may fetch me under $0.33 a day.
However, as some writers and readers would point out to me- the fallacy that articles were not going to be read as often as the first golden week of its publishing comes, the revenue may even fall.
At an assumption of $0.33 a day per article, I would still require 300+ to meet a minimum of $99+ to somewhat have a lower poverty living wage in the United States Dollar (USD) standard of lifestyle.
$0.99 to $300+ each day
I decided to pursue a $0.99 gain a day per article when I would publish after that. I would just need 100 articles. Or less and less as the value of each article goes upward.
Ironically, what would happen was some articles would do stellar such as hitting $40+ days or accumulating and leading more as much as projecting to triple digits later.
Nobody knows why the rent is so high and home ownership, is more.
It’s been sad the first few months of this one and how I only earned $10 on a lifetime earning article towards my goals of a $750+ gaming chair that I couldn't get for Christmas after a life crisis and I wanted a nice winter.
I also ran into the issue of earning 1/30th of that which I found was super odd and I decided to figure out why by analyzing a writing article called Medium-size pennies. I thought the title was kind of catchy…
$300 A Day Would Be Really, Nice
The price of a managerial salary would be sweeter as Malaysian style sweet Mango & sticky rice dessert. I wanted to achieve this. I started writing with publications and founded some of my own.
- Wellspring Publications
- 8Gara
- mStreams
I think that's a reasonable next step.
If I started writing like a contributing writer with a step up towards management abilities, I could likely achieve my aim much faster.
After all, the very reasonable compensation for managerial level workings is the reason the productivity level and output of businesses can generate and cover their salaries too.
It seems reasonable so I wanted to 10X, 40X, and 300X my processes while not lowering or suffering valuation loss in writing qualities.
Paradoxically, it works out because writers improve with more writing. That’s a natural cyclic loop nobody can actively change.
Medium’s Sustainable Viability
I am currently a strainer writer not earning enough. I’m talking about achieving the top 6% of Medium writers however still struggling with earning more than a regular full-time livable wage for the future with writing alone.
I encourage my readers to write with me and develop writer communities that can assist with critical survivability as internet writers on Medium.
This publication particularly aims to share mStreams & revenue ideas for people learning to live in the digitalization landscape where online money is king. As remote work continues to dominate, it seems reasonable and wise to adopt and continue.
Please support me and continue engagement, reading, and sharing so I can continue to promise to deliver high-quality value and content writing.
Bookmark the Article & Work on Weekends Too
I achieved this kind of modeling with one article that was starting to earn consistently throughout the week and especially on weekends.
I analyzed my successful article titled “Successful People Work on Weekends” in another article titled “A Medium Article of Mine Unexpectedly Turned Into Reoccuring Weekend Income”
