The Complex Medium Earnings

I came onto Medium to write and earn some income.

It became another stream of income and potential for passive income as the months went on and my writing was starting to get a lot of attraction.

Money is always a great thing in life to have, as it makes the journey a lot smoother. I did some research to find that only 6% of Medium writers earn a bit more than $100 per month writing out articles.

I soon found out that people liked to consume what I was writing.

I had no major intention of becoming a large content creator and my personality and shyness have always been some attributes that prevented me from pursuing avenues such as YouTube.

6,000+ claps & hundreds of comments later….

I was happy I was providing such high-quality writing and thinking for my readers. I still was not making enough to call it a sustainable monetization game plan. I had to figure out something if I wanted to do this passion instead of a survivability type of work.

A lot of other writers suggested adding merchandise shops or affiliate marketing or finding freelance writing opportunities since they were all skills I could do.

I ended up surprisingly writing an article that would go on to earn me reoccurring revenue every single weekend in the time that followed.

Why I Earn Money Every Weekend

This was a monetization article that everyone would regularly read each weekend or it would be shared because of my writing that encouraged it.

I would find that the statistics of the article gain revenue each weekend.

The article is titled, Successful People Work on Weekends

I think my article did well because people want to get ahead in life. We all want to spend that extra 48 hours very wisely whether it is with family, starting a new passion project, or moving advance in life on another step.

I intend to do more article analysis in the future to see what should be considered high-quality writing. After all, good writers are often readers as well with the ability to do critical analysis on what works and does not.

I do not consider it a super high-quality writing piece however the messaging, inspirational motivational tone, and repetitive engagement and reading caught my attention.

So I would decide to declare it a pretty successful article write-up.

As a result of that success, I decided to pursue creating publications and writing more articles. mSteams, Wellspring, and 8Gara are all examples of writing projects and communities that I want to pursue.

The communities are always looking for more readers, writers, and editors to contribute to their growth. All my publications are very friendly.

They are topics of my interest and I think passions and hobbies are much better when shared.
