Why Can’t We All Get Along
How loving is natural, and hate is taught.
Every single day there is some form of hate crime committed by one race upon another and basically due to one’s heritage or skin color. The problem lies within the hater due to some deep-seated ideology that drives such ill behavior.
Sadly to say there are more than can be counted, hate groups that take advantage of or attack another group different from them without provocation. Hatred is a global epidemic and destroys much in its path.
There has been a recent surge in antisemitic events across the country. Most are randomly done such as a passerby walking up and shoving an elderly Asian person to the ground or hitting for no apparent reason. While other antisemitic hate crimes are targeted to instill fear in communities.
Recently, blasted on my car’s radio was that people dressed in clothing reminiscent of Nazi brownshirts drove down Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood and Beverly Hills, yelling hateful messages targeting Asians.
These Nazi supporters’ behavior was seen during the January 6 Insurrection against The Capitol as some of the rioters screamed, Hitler didn’t do enough.” There is no denying their intent based on their words in support of the atrocities committed by Hitler.
These anti-Asian haters were identified as the Goyim Defense League, (GDL), according to Stop-Antisemitism, an organization that exposes anyone who engages in antisemitic behavior.
Due to video footage, the group, Stop-Antisemitism, was able to identify two men, Jon Minadeo II and Robert Frank Wilson, who participated in the hateful rally. These two are obvious white supremacists whose has an agenda to intimidate others unlike them. Their actions need to be punishable by law with incarceration and/or fined. This type of free speech has gone too far and is not what the Constitution intended.
If everyone exercised free speech in such a manner regularly, then the world would be in a constant chaotic state. No one like to be treated in such an ill racist manner so why submit others to behavior unfavorable to self. This makes no sense, but to a sick mind perhaps it dos. The problem lies within the hatter and not the hated.
There is a need for more laws to arrest this type of behavior with fines and incarceration. Otherwise, this type of behavior will continue and escalate into a far worse crime against other communities of color.
While two men were identified for driving down the streets spewing anti-Asian rhetoric, the Beverly Hills police nor the Los Angeles Country Sheriff’s Department who responded to the incident have identified the group or any participants. Law enforcement has identified the truck’s license plate and were working to identify who rented it.
Getting the info regarding who rented a car or truck, should not be that complicated, especially for law enforcement. This makes you wonder. Perhaps, there is more than meets the eye here.
Not only were these two men identified from a camera, but the truck they were allegedly driving has been seen in prior incidents involving the same hate group. GDL has been known for distributing antisemitic fliers and posting hate-filled rhetoric on freeway overpasses.
If the public readily can target GDL, why is it so difficult for law enforcement to find them?
According to findings, GDL is a group of individuals tied together with the same antisemitism ideology and is comprised of about six primary organizers/public figures, dozens of supporters, and thousands of online followers. They have been responsible for at least 74 antisemitic propaganda incidents in 2021.
All this activity and law enforcement cannot find them or where they rented a car from. One would have to question the intent and effort of law enforcement. If their efforts here bespeak their ability, perhaps another job would be more appropriate.
Their most recent hate activity down Santa Monica Boulevard, the truck was parked at a Beverly Hilton hotel driveway where three members of the hate group sported brownshirts that resembled Nazi Germany parading and shouting “the Nazis are coming” and “here comes Jew boy…we’re going to make you go extinct.” Also, the truck bore hate-filled messages, i.e. “Ann Coulter was right about Jews” and “Resisting the Great Replacement = Greatest Threat?”
In conclusion, while this country has a major problem with systemic racism with people of color being targeted with hate crimes since some law enforcement seems to be part of the problem and not the solution, then voters need to demand new laws and punishment for all hate crimes and staffing and retraining law enforcement to protect and serve. Things have got to change. One can only beat someone so long before they start to fight back. Karma is real.
