The incident, captured on video, shows the men chasing Arbery in their truck before confronting and shooting him, despite him posing no threat. It emphasizes the need for accountability and justice, not only for Arbery's family but for the Black community and all those affected by such acts of violence.

Ahmaud Arbery trial where three white men are being tried for chasing an unarmed man and killing him when he was out for a jog and had nothing to do with them. He was not a threat to none of them, but these three armed men saw a Black man alone and took advantage of the situation. They ran him down like an animal, like cattle, tackled him, and then shot him. The neighbor who was an accomplice to the father and son murder of Arbery, videotaped the whole thing.

This reminded me of slavery days when Blacks were hung and then pictures were taken of them hanging from a noose in a tree and sent on postcards around the country. This is what I called the new day lynching of people of color and has been occurring at an alarming rate. For people of color, it is either murder or incarceration to destroy their lives as the justice system sits idle by.

What amazes me is that the video clearly showed that these three armed white men were tackling one single unarmed black man as he was jogging down the street alone and is now dead. All on tape!! Court, for what to disapprove what the world saw? Unbelievable.

Yesterday, on the news, the medical examiner, Donoghue, advised the court that the cause of death was gunshots to his body. Well, no pundit intended but I am not a medical examiner, but the videotape showed how he died after being shot at three times with two shots hitting him.

The justice system in America is biased, flawed, and rigged against people of color and even the poor. Some of these judges that sit on these benches are the same ones who wore the KKK robes back in the day. The wardrobe may have changed but the mentality remains.

Before the prosecutors rested their case yesterday, photos were shown to the jury of Arbery with shotgun wounds that punched a gaping hole in his chest and unleased bleeding that stained his white T-shirt entirely red.

Donoghue, the medical examiner, itestified that two of the three shotgun rounds fired at Abery two hit him. He confirmed that both shots caused severe bleeding that either blast alone would have killed Arbery.

Three armed men against one unarmed Black man and three shots were fired. If that doesn’t smell like murder then the definition in the dictionary for murder needs to be changed.

Webster’s definition of murder: the unlawful premeditated killing of one human being by another.

The first shot was close range and tore through an artery in Arbery’s right wrist and punched a big hole in the center of his chest, breaking several ribs and causing heavy internal bleeding.

The third shot fired at point-blank range ripped through a major artery and vein near his lArbery’s armpit and fractured bones in his shoulder and upper arm.

Note, the second shot missed. Their actions bespeak of murderous intent and if these men are not found guilty, this would be an atrocity to Arbery, his family, the Black race, and any human being that knows this is wrong. Arbery was so badly shot that the medical examiner said a paramedic probably could not have saved his life. These shooters made sure of that.

It is heartbreaking to hear how Arbery having been shot like a wild animal fighting for his life with every fiber within his being as the “fight or flight reaction” kicked in raising his heart rate and blood pressure sending adrenaline coursing through his body.

My lord, this hurts to think about how he felt at that moment.

Greg and Travis McMichael and their neighbor, William “Roddie” Bryan chased Arbery down and killed him for running in their neighborhood and they claim they suspected him of burglary of a home under construction fives houses away. Suspect why? Because he was black? Why not call the police?

Since there was video footage. What gives them the right, they don’t own a neighborhood. The son claims he shot his gun in self-defense after Arbery tried to take it from him. What the hell does he expect for Arbery to stand there at let him shoot him either way. Seriously? This explanation does not hold water. A racist mindset will justify any actions in their own warped mind.

They chased him in their truck for five minutes and when Arbery tried to run around McMichaels’ truck when it stalled, the confrontation ensued between Travis and Arbery and where Travis fired the shot into Arbery.

In conclusion, hearing how Arbery fought for his life brings tears to my eyes imagining his last thoughts, words about his life, his family, friends, and why him just jogging down a street. My heartaches! Who will fight for Arbery? Not even a guilty plea will return his life but would pay for the injustice that was done. Who will cry for Arbery! Arbery, we are sorry that America has failed you and many like you! Justice for Arbery!!!
